Welcome To : Sea Escapes Studio
Sea Escapes Studio:
Built high on a cliff above a private little cove in Peterson Bay, Alaska Sea Escapes Studio's seclusion is part of its enchantment, but Dave and Caryl Christy, have created an artist's haven in the design and construction using colors that call in the forest and glass to reflect the translucent waters of world renowned Kachemak Bay.
Homer, Alaska, their port of call for all life's necessities and your departure point to join them, is located on Kachemak Bay 250 miles southeast of Alaska's largest city, Anchorage. Peterson Bay is a 15 minute boat ride due south across the bay from the Homer marina located on the tip of the Homer Spit. Sunny Cove is just to your right as you enter the mouth of Peterson Bay.
How To get there :
From Anchorage there is both scheduled bus and airplane service to Homer. The drive via bus or car takes about 4 1/2 pleasant hours along a highway rated as one of the top 10 most scenic roads in all of North America. Arriving at "lands end", water taxi's are readily available in the Homer harbor. These professionals will take you on a scenic boat ride across Kachemak Bay and drop you on our private dock in Sunny Cove.
